Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Here’s every one our site uses, and how to change your mind.
The ones the site needs
- Your cookie choice (
ts_cookie_choice) remembers whether you pressed OK or No thanks, so we don’t ask again. It’s set once you pick and lasts 365 days. We keep the same choice in your browser’s storage too. - Wait for a yes (
ts_optin) is only set if you’re visiting from Europe, the UK, Switzerland or Quebec (or from Canada when we can’t tell the province), going by the country and province our host reads from your internet address. It tells our site to wait for your OK before loading Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel. It holds nothing else and lasts a day. - Team sign-in: our team’s login page sets sign-in cookies for the people who work here, plus two that remember how each of them left the menu. Visitors to the public site don’t get them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see what’s working: how many people visit, which pages they look at, roughly where they’re from (to the city) and what kind of device they use. It doesn’t tell us who you are.
_gatells one visitor’s visits apart from another’s. Lasts 2 years._ga_5T97TZSDLWkeeps track of your current visit. Lasts 2 years.
They’re set on our own domain, and Google processes what they collect for us. In Europe, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec, Google Analytics doesn’t load at all until you press OK: no analytics cookies, and nothing is sent to Google. Everywhere else it starts on your first page, and the cookie notice lets you say no.
If you pick No thanks, Google Analytics is switched off in your browser: its cookies are cleared, it doesn’t load on later visits, and nothing more is sent.
Measuring our ads (Meta)
We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta Pixel tells Meta whether those ads bring visitors who look at our pages, finish a business check, book a call or send a message, so we can tell which ads work. It never sends what you type into a form, it doesn’t load on business check reports, and we don’t show ads on our own website.
_fbptells one visitor’s visits apart from another’s, for Meta. Lasts 90 days._fbcis only set when you arrive by clicking one of our ads, so Meta can tell which ad it was. Lasts 90 days.
It follows the same choice as analytics: in Europe, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec it doesn’t load until you press OK, and No thanks switches it off and clears these cookies. Our Google tag is still set to tell Google not to use your visit for advertising.
Other sites
When you leave our site — for example to join a Google Meet call or open a Google listing — those sites use their own cookies under their own policies.
Changing your choice
Press Cookie settings to see your choice and change it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on. If you block cookies, the site still works — we just won’t remember your choice.
